Urbandale: Northview Park

Northview Park in Urbandale has a great playground.  My boys' favorite part is the zip line.  There's a parking lot and restrooms near the playground.

There's a paved wooded trail near the playground that leads to Sylvan Ridge Park.  The walk is quite nice and you can make a loop out of it, if you walk a bit through the neighborhood.
