Driving through Madison County for the first time today, I couldn't help but think of the movie that made covered bridges in Iowa even more of a tourist destination.
We visited the Holliwell Covered Bridge on our way to Winterset City Park. It was interesting to see, but I was still surprised by the very steady stream of tourists who visited while we were there.
