Today was a cold, but beautiful day for another winter hike at Thomas Mitchell Park. This time we started our hike near the campground. Afterwards, my boys enjoyed playing on the icy creek and on the playground.
The modern restrooms are closed for the season, however there are two available in the winter. There's a vault restroom in the parking lot by the pond, and a portable restroom near the playground.
We saw quite a few people sledding while we were there. Some near the pond, some near the playground and others on the hiking trail by the youth campground.
