Winter Park in Urbandale, Iowa has a fantastic sledding hill. It's behind Metro Sports Facility, which is convenient because they welcome anyone who's sledding to use their lobby to warm up. The concession stand is open during hockey games and there are restrooms available. However, the parking lot is shared and it can be very busy when there's hockey games.
