Coralville: Iowa River Landing Wetland Park

 

We're staying in Coralville this weekend and our kids were up early at the hotel, so we headed to the Iowa River Landing Wetland Park.  After walking the elevated walkways, we looped back on the Iowa River Trail for a total length of 1 mile.

Parking is available for $1/hour at the Iowa River Landing North Parking Ramp.  Restrooms are on the south side where the Iowa River Trail connects to the park.

This isn't quite what I expected when I read "cascading waterfall" in the description, but it was nice and my kids liked seeing it.

There were many interesting informational signs throughout the wetlands park and along the Iowa River Trail.

We saw many walkers out on the Iowa River Trail and a few bikers.
