Cherry Glen Recreation Area at Saylorville Lake has great sunset views. Tonight we enjoyed walking along the water and my boys always like climbing on the rocks. It's a popular area, we saw several other families there, but it's also big enough that it never feels crowded.
The recreation status list will advise when the boat ramp, campgound and shelter have closed for the season, but the parking lot is open year-round unlike some of the other recreation areas.
