This morning, we attended the
Jingle Bell Stroll at Gray's Lake Park in Des Moines. This fun, free event included a half-mile loop with several stations along the way.
My kids really enjoyed the fake snow, which reminded me of the holiday events we attended while living in South Florida. Last winter, was the first time my boys saw real snow.

After the event, we checked out the Gray's Lake playground which is fairly small. The restrooms near the playground are closed for the season, however the restrooms by the main entrance are open.
