Pine Ridge Park in Steamboat Rock supposedly has 3.15 miles of mowed trails, but we only found a 1.3 mile trail. The shooting range was very active during our Sunday morning visit, which didn't make for peaceful hiking. The 8-acre artificial lake was fun to see after we climbed the hill. The campground and playground are right next to the Iowa River.
