Hertz Family Woods in Story County has a one-mile gravel loop trail, as well as dirt trails within a wooded area. We saw wildflowers and jumped over streams of water in the woods today. There is a parking lot, but no restrooms. Please note the gravel trail does not connect. There's a stretch where you have to walk in the grass along Country Club Rd, as you can see in the Google map below.
