Annett Nature Center in Indianola is a very pretty and peaceful place to take a walk and have a picnic. The trails are mostly in wide open grassy areas, but some are in wooded areas. Lake Ahquabi State Park is just down the road, but the lake has been drained and the campground is closed for renovations.
