Minnesota: Insula Restaurant in Ely

 

Insula Restaurant in Ely is conveniently located on E. Sheridan St, which is the main drag through town.  While waiting for a table tonight (we arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday night), we enjoyed walking along E. Sheridan St which definitely has a Main Street vibe.

We loved everything we ordered and would definitely eat at Insula again when we return for another visit to Ely.  My kids ordered a cheeseburger and flatbread cheese pizzza.  The burger kid declared the fries to be the best he'd ever hadm, while my favorite was the peach basil cider from Duluth, MN.
