Urbandale: Library Play Area

 

Urbandale Public Library is conveniently located a short walk from Walker Johnston Park.  There's a small play area which includes vehicles, dinosaurs, a light table with magnatiles, a Lego board and coloring sheets with crayons.  

Each library we've visited this summer has scavanger hunts available which my boys really enjoy. Today's included a bonus for finding the 5 superheros hidden throughout the library.

The library currently has one of the outdoor pianos placed by City Sounds and my kiddo was very excited to play Ode to Joy.  The piano will be there through October.
