Saylor Scoop is a new option for ice cream on the north side of Des Moines, just south of Ankeny. They offer both hard pack and soft serve ice cream. Most of their seating is indoors with two chairs outside. It’s in kind of an odd area and is easy to overlook, but there's a huge American flag near it which makes it easier to spot when you’re driving down NW 2nd St / Hwy 415.
