Terra Park in Johnston has a unique playground for older kids. We were there this morning for the Kids Fun Run which is part of the Mayor's Run for the Trails. It's for kids ages 6-12 and it's a 0.62 mile run around Terra Lake.

Swings: traditional, toddler, adaptive
Restrooms: seasonal modern restrooms in the picnic shelter, portable available in the winter
Parking: large parking lot near playground
Trails: paved trails & a soft-surfaced loop trail around the lake
