After seeing
Fritz's Railroad Restaurant in Crown Center yesterday, my kids really wanted to eat there but that location was insanely busy. So today we headed to their Shawnee location, which was not busy at all on a Saturday at lunchtime. The food was great and my boys loved watching the trains deliver food to each table. Actually, all the kids in the restaurant were having a great time watching the trains.
My son's only disappointment was that his brownie sundae was hand delivered and didn't come via train. In case you're wondering, drinks are also hand delivered. My only complaint is that they don't have good seating for larger groups. Booths are the only option and it was a tight fit for six of us (4 adults, 2 kids). I saw several families split up among several booths for that reason.
