Tonight's luminary hike at Grandview Park was really fun. Des Moines Parks & Rec did a great job organizing the event. In fact, we enjoyed the hike so much that we did it twice for a total of 2 miles. Potential trip hazards were well marked with double luminaries and signage advising to step up or step down. Hot chocolate was provided, which we enjoyed in between our two hikes.
