We've been to every arcade in the Des Moines area and
Spare Time is our favorite. There's a wide variety of games and there's plenty of space even when it's crowded. One thing that's different is the price of the games is clearly displayed (ranges from $1.50 to $2.00 per game), unlike other arcades that operate on credits. The prize area is self-serve, which I really like because my kids take forever to make up their minds and will often hold up a line of kids waiting to redeem their tickets.
