We hiked the River Scene Trail at Castlewood State Park near St. Louis today. It's a great trail that's supposed to be 3 miles, but our loop ended up being nearly 4 miles. The upper trail has gorgeous views and the lower trail follows the Mermec River. The parking lot near the trailhead has restrooms.
