CARLISLE: Scotch Ridge Nature Park in the Spring

Scotch Ridge Nature Park in Carlisle has a small natural playscape.  The park is the northern trailhead for the 3.3 mile Scotch Ridge Nature Trail, which has a 10-foot wide paved bike trail that connects to the Summerset Trail.

There's no address for the park, but Peoples Bank Carlisle is very close.  After driving through the bank parking lot, you'll see a separate lot for the park.  There's a seasonal portable restroom and if you visit in the winter there's a Casey's just across the highway.  Gazebo grain bins serve as picnic table shelters.  There are also two uncovered picnic tables available.

We visited today as part of the Warren County geocaching challenge.  The cache was just a short walk from the paved trail.  There were no cards available, so I called and they should be refilled soon.
