We saw the afternoon performance of Frozen: The Broadway Musical at Johnston High School today. It was a sensory-friendly show which was perfect for young children and kiddos like my son who has autism. It was a fantastic performance and my kids loved it!
This show was special because Johnston was one of only 52 high schools worldwide, and the only school in the state of Iowa, allowed to produce the Broadway version until January 2024. The theme of the contest was Love is an Open Door, which Johnston High School shows by having a no cut policy for musicals.
