Warren County Conservation offers a geocaching challenge each year from April 1 to November 1. This year the theme is Iowa rocks and minerals. We started today and found 3 out of the 25 caches at McCord Park, DeNelsky Park and Summerset State Park. It's a great family-friendly challenge because the caches are fairly easy for kids to find.
Of the three caches we found today, it was straight forward as to where to park but we had trouble finding the trailhead at Summerset State Park so I wanted to share this map which I should have looked at while we were there. After parking, head north a short distance to find the start of the Riverside Trail.
