Peony Park in West Des Moines has a playground that was new in 2023. The park also has a full basketball court, a tennis court (with pickleball lines), a picnic shelter and a 0.25 mile paved loop trail. Just north of the tennis court is a beautiful peony garden that blooms from May to June.
