The
splash pads in Ankeny typically operate Memorial Day through Labor Day, however due to the warm weather they were turned on early this year. They're currently operational from 10 am to 8 pm (8 am to 8 pm this summer). Of the three options in Ankeny,
Sunrise Park has the largest splash pad so we headed there after school today.
The park also has a nice playground, two full basketball courts, a 1/2 mile paved loop trail and great trees for climbing.
