Dog-Eared Books in Ames is conveniently located next to
Marmalade Moon, which makes for a perfect summer excursion with kids. First, we shopped for books (great children's book selection) and then we enjoyed an afternoon treat (excellent ice cream). While in the area, we also walked one block north to the
Ames Library which has a play area and a great used book selection.
