JOHNSTON: Summer at Terra Park

 

Terra Park is such a pretty place to play and picnic.  Today we walked the 0.7 mile paved trail that loops around the lake and I found myself wishing we had packed a picnic lunch. 

There's a small picnic shelter close to the east side of the lake, as well as a large picnic shelter near the playground with attached restrooms.

If you plan to visit the park soon, please be aware that there are rides in the parking lot for the upcoming Johnston Green Days, so the parking lot is more crowded than usual.  Green Days kicks off on June 15th.
