QUAD CITIES: Channel Cat Water Taxi

The Channel Cat Water Taxi is a cheap way to take a boat ride on the Mississippi River when visiting the Quad Cities.  We parked at Isle Casino and paid for tickets on the app (cash is also an option).  There are four stops total and the loop takes about 1 hour.

The tickets are valid all day, but we chose to just to ride for one loop and did not explore any of the other stops.  The ride was very comfortable.  It was 91 degrees during our boat trip, but the temperature felt great when the boat was moving.  A friend we rode with mentioned that it does get quite cold on the boat when riding during cooler weather.

After being picked up in Bettendorf we headed under the new I-74 bridge, which also has a pedestrian path.  We didn't get a chance to check it out, but there's free parking at the 15th Street Landing for people walking across.  The old suspension bridge is currently being removed.
