AMES: Perfect Games

Perfect Games in Ames has bowling, an arcade, indoor playground and mini golf.  Bowling was fun and a lot cheaper for two people than the places where you pay by the hour. The arcade had a wide variety of games, but about a third of them were out of order. The indoor playground reminded me of a slightly bigger McDonald’s playground. Those type are fun when they’re free, but not really worth paying for.

My golf loving kiddo likes mini golf at Perfect Games because there are some obstacles and mischief spinners unlike most of the metro area courses.  I don’t care for it because there’s a lot of highway noise and very little shade. Also, you pay inside which leads to kids asking to bowl and play arcade games.
