Our on road trip to Wisconsin we stopped at Ice Cream U Scream in Dubuque for a treat. I couldn't find any hours posted online and sure enough they were closed when we pulled up. However, as we sat in the car and searched for another place to go we noticed employees had started showing up and sure enough, at 3:20 pm they opened for the day.
Their indoor dining area is closed, and according to reviewers has been closed since Covid started That's unfortunate because there's one small bench outside, which results in everyone else standing around on the sidewalk eating their ice cream.
The ice cream is Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream from Madison, Wisconsin which is excellent, however their outdoor only service and lack of seating makes me not want to stop here again.
