Today was perfect weather for kayaking on Blue Heron Lake at Raccoon River Park. It’s $20/hour for double kayaks, which is what works best for our family of four but they have a variety of rentals available.
The Raccoon River Park Boathouse is located south-west of the swimming beach area. There's a large parking lot and modern restrooms. The boathouse is operated by Canoe Sport Outfitters.
