Thomas Mitchell Park has a 0.6 mile gravel trail that loops around the pond. The trail includes a storywalk and has several shaded picnic tables and fishing areas. The current book on the storywalk is My Son Lives in a Tree. There's a parking lot and restroom near the trail.
