We enjoy walking the Red Feather Prairie Maze each year, which is available in October. The start of the maze this year is near the main parking lot (not the lower lot closer to the lake). You'll see a Prairie Maze directional sign near the parking lot and the start of the maze is just a short walk from there.
Look for Welcome sign and open the container to find the crossword puzzle sheets. Don't forget a pen, and a clipboard is handy to bring too. In warm weather, we have found the paths to be very scratchy on bare legs, so I recommend wearing pants. There is a vault restroom along the paved path that connects to the two parking areas.
