Paved Trail at Copper Creek Lake Park - Pleasant Hill, Iowa

 

Copper Creek Lake Park has a 1.2 mile loop trail around the lake.  Along the trail, you'll find a playground and storywalk.  If you have bikes with you, the north side of the lake connects to the Gay Lea Wilson Trail which is great for exploring the nearby parks I've marked on the map below.

We had lunch at The Pizza Bar before walking around the lake today and the pizza was fantastic.  The restaurant is very kid-friendly with three kid menu options.
