Gene Leahy Mall has a fun playground with three tall climbing arches, slides, and toddler swings. The playground is fenced with only one entrance. Within the playground area are picnic tables and access to family restrooms (open year-round). Just a short walk away there are additional slides.
Street parking ($1/hour) is available nearby and there are several restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite is Upstream Brewing Company, which is kid-friendly and has great food. My kids also like to visit Hollywood Candy.
